Grand pianos with an awkward approach, pieces requiring conservation handling, works needing specialist export documentation. Where the right answer is a specialist, we say so and bring one in rather than improvising.
Four inputs: volume, access at both ends, handling class per item, and distance. The third is the one most quotes leave out, and it is the one that decides whether the valuable things in your house arrive in the state they left in.
It also makes quotes comparable. If you are weighing us against another firm, check that both have measured the same volume, assumed the same packing depth, and said something specific about the pieces that need more than a blanket.
