The difference is what happens before the van arrives
Most removals go wrong in the same two places: somebody guessed the volume, or nobody checked how the furniture was getting out of the building. Both are avoidable, and both are avoided by doing the unglamorous work in advance.
That is the whole of our method. Look at the property properly. Decide the handling piece by piece rather than room by room. Put the scope in writing. Then move it.
About the firm- 01 Surveyed before priced Nothing is quoted from a room count. Somebody looks at the staircase turn, the lift door and what is actually in the garage.
- 02 Handling decided per item A bookcase and an inlaid cabinet do not get the same treatment. The survey sets the handling class piece by piece.

We are a named firm rather than a high-street branch, and we would rather set out the coverage plainly than imply a local presence in every town we are willing to drive to.
We quote collections across mainland Britain and deliver anywhere in it. What changes with distance is not whether we will do the job — it is the crewing, the running order and whether it is realistically a one-day move. All of which is worked out at survey and written into the quote.
We do not list towns we have no particular knowledge of. Where local access detail matters — a conservation street, a listed building, a lift that will not take a wardrobe — we establish it for your address rather than generalising about the postcode.

Where are you based?
We work as a national firm rather than a single-town one, and we would rather say that plainly than claim a high street we do not sit on. Coverage is set out honestly on the coverage page — where we quote from, and where the travel starts to shape the price.
What makes a move "fine furniture" rather than an ordinary one?
Anything where the value or the fragility means the standard blanket-and-strap approach is not enough: veneered or inlaid pieces, marble and glass tops, framed work, mirrors, clocks, and furniture with joints that predate screws. Those get cases and crates rather than blankets.
Do you survey every job?
Every one above a single room. Nothing here is priced from a room count alone, because a room count tells you nothing about staircase turns, lift door widths or what is actually in the garage.
Can you store things as well as move them?
Yes — wrapped, inventoried and racked indoors. It is used most often for the gap between completions, for renovations that overrun, and for holding a household while overseas paperwork comes together.
Do you handle moves abroad?
To France, Spain, Italy and Portugal, yes. Dedicated vehicles or shared space, export-grade wrapping, and the customs documentation prepared here from the survey inventory.
